MISS MISSOURI 2011

Sydney Friar, competing as Miss Branson, was crowned Miss Missouri 2011 on Saturday, June 11.  She performed a rock ballad to the classic Aerosmith song, “Dream On,” and won preliminary awards in Interview and Evening Gown.  Sydney will spend her year as Missouri’s goodwill ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network and promoting her platform “Reconnecting the Family Unit,” as well as serving as the spokesperson for the Miss Missouri Scholarship Organization.  Sydney will travel to Las Vegas to compete in the 2012 Miss America Pageant in January.
